The Arena World Championship (AWC) continues in its 17th year. The best World of Warcraft Arena players from around the globe will compete in the latest season of Dragonflight, hoping to prove themselves in battle and compete for their share of $900,000 in total prizing across the year. Ultimately, eight teams from the Americas and Europe – four from each region – will converge for the AWC Season Finals to be crowned the champion!

How to Compete
Season Format
- AWC Cups:These are 3v3 Arena competitions hosted online by Blizzard that are open to Arena teams of any skill level from the Americas and Europe. Each AWC Cup rewards $20,000 USD in prizing, as well as regional bragging rights and AWC Points to advance to the next stage of the competition.
- Head over to theRaider.IO home pageto sign up for the next Arena Cup in your region!
- AWC Gauntlet:After the conclusion of the AWC Cups, the top 8 teams per region based on AWC Points advance to the next stage of the competition. The top 3 teams from each region automatically advance to the AWC Dragonflight Finals, with teams finishing 4ththrough 8thadvancing to the AWC Gauntlet. The AWC Gauntlet is a single elimination competition which will determine the last team to advance to the AWC Dragonflight Finals!
- AWC Mid-Season Clash: The AWC Mid-Season Clash is a new event in 2024. This event will add an extra competition where teams from Europe and North America clash. The Mid-Season Clash will have it’s own dedicated Gauntlet, and take place during Dragonflight Season 3.
- AWC Dragonflight Finals:The eight best teams from the Americas and Europe – four from each region – will converge for the AWC Dragonflight Finals. Here teams will compete for $300,000 USD in prizing and the title of AWC Champions!
