Where should you sit at Coors Field? ›

Locals claim that seats on the first base side down the line and a few rows toward the inside offer an excellent viewpoint. Another place for a great view is high up in one of the 300s on the third-base side.

While most of the seats in Coors Field are dark green, the seats in the 20th row of the upper deck are purple to mark the elevation of one mile (5280 ft; 1,609 m) above sea level. Coors Field sold out at night.

The Rooftop is a 38,000 square foot destination constructed in the Upper Right field deck, providing stunning panoramic views of Downtown Denver and the Front Range.

If you prefer to sit field-level, opt for a seat in the last few rows of sections 128-135. For shade seekers who don't mind sitting higher, the upper rows in sections 330-335 are decent choices. Outfield sections 151-160 and center field sections 401-403 are sun exposed and receive almost no shade during the day.

To get the best view of the mountains, I would recommend seats in the upper levels #305 - 319, since the mountains are behind left field. There is also a new party deck above the right-field seats and you can get excellent views from there, as well.

The four red seats located in the first row down the first base line were purchased by the Coca-Cola Company when the ballpark first opened and are given away to some lucky fans for each game. Also of note, Coca-Cola products are the only soft drinks to be sold inside of Coors Field.

Cheapest Baseball Parks for Beer

Once again, Coors Field holds its beer prices steady at $3 for one beer. Though the league average is $6.98, several ballparks price their beer well below this number.

Luckily, the upper deck at Coors Field is never full, not even on opening weekend, and we found some seats behind home plate. From there, by the way, the Rooftop looks spectacular. Verdict: If you're not a real baseball fan and you go to games just to hang out with friends, you might as well go to the Rooftop.

What beer does Coors Field serve? ›

They have Coors products and Budweiser products, and not just the Regular and Light varieties. You can get Blue Moon at various spots around the park (in nifty wooden stands), Budweiser American Ale, just to name a couple of drinks from the major breweries off the beaten beer path.

Seats along the first base side of Coors Field are always in high demand for the fireworks show. However, the Rockies also offer “fireworks obstructed view tickets” as part of their packages for the evening. As the Rockies state, you can move after the game to get a view of the fireworks.

Mom Tip: Coors Field is almost entirely cashless. Be prepared to pay for parking with credit card as well as almost all concessions and merchandise. Cash is only accepted at Section 109 Fanfare, 134 Grille Works, 306 Grille Works and 327 Fanfare.

Coors Field regulations allow only soft-sided, single-pocket bags and containers 16”x 16”x 8” or smaller to be permitted in the ballpark. All permitted bags are subject to search both upon entry and within the ballpark (see Searches). All gates utilize “Inspection Lanes” for Guests carrying permitted items.
